The New Citizen Attesa Direct Flight Is Launched

(Photo Caption: Citizen Watch Co., Ltd - Japan)

The newly re-designed Citizen Attesa "Direct Flight" will take off come June 9th, 2011 in the Japan domestic market. The model's new case and bracelet design are aimed at a more mature and business oriented type of wearer with its smaller dimensions and a more comfortable bracelet. If you are a fan of the older 2009 and 2010 Direct Flight releases, don't fret..... Looks like the new watches will be additions and not direct replacements to the current Attesa H610 lineup.

There will be 2 models released:

BY0040-51E (126,000 YEN tax included)

BY0040-51F (136,500 YEN tax included)

Model 51F has a DLC bezel while model 51E does not. As far as we can tell, this is the only major difference between both watches.

The watches feature full Titanium + Duratect construction. The case dimensions are 44.5mm (Crown included) by 12.5mm thick. Total weight with no links removed is 98g.

Some additional close-ups for your viewing pleasure...

Yep, basically the quality of photos so far posted by Citizen is not the greatest. We hope to see better ones once the model is released into the wild at the end of this week.
