Don't get me wrong, is not a bad watch, but in respect to other offerings within the Signature Collection lines and more "true" diving watches like the JDM Seiko Sumo (Sells for exact same money as this Citizen) it is unimpressive. The case finishing lacks imagination and the kind of attention a watch from this series should have.

If you are a fan of the Tag Heuer Aquaracer (This Citizen is clearly modeled after it), then this watch should be up your alley.

As to me personally, my money is on the JDM Seiko Sumo. That's how a $600 diver should be finished. The case work of the Sumo is amazing and something this Citizen can't hold a candle to.JapanWatchConnectionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16941999815919761053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7521535435173949688.post-75122508831126696032011-03-23T09:13:42.806-04:002011-03-23T09:13:42.806-04:00Blue one is my favorite too.Blue one is my favorite too.Spin Doctorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00071619650374963128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7521535435173949688.post-5703238077260081282011-03-22T21:34:41.962-04:002011-03-22T21:34:41.962-04:00The Blue Dial version might just be the watch I...The Blue Dial version might just be the watch I've been looking for to round out my collection. The Skyhawk hands don't look so bad on the other models, but a diver like this should have something more characteristic. If anything the 2100 Seamaster style hands would look better.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7521535435173949688.post-41700100341774143102011-03-05T18:24:43.868-05:002011-03-05T18:24:43.868-05:00Also, I would like to add the dial of this diver r...Also, I would like to add the dial of this diver reminds me too much of the Citizen Eco-Drive World Perpetual AT watches, just with a timing bezel instead of the world cities outer bezel as depicted in some models on that range.

Another thing that I would like for Citizen to consider is to drop the "Eco-Drive" moniker from their more expensive watches. Citizen Japan has removed this dial wording in their Attesa and Exceed lines.JapanWatchConnectionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16941999815919761053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7521535435173949688.post-72171805482467709292011-03-05T18:15:59.449-05:002011-03-05T18:15:59.449-05:00Looks nice but hard to tell otherwise until I get ...Looks nice but hard to tell otherwise until I get to see it in the flesh. A diver watch doesn't seem to translate all to well into the Signature Collection range but seems to be an attempt to offer something more "sporty" amid the other SG Citizens that tend to be more dress/casual in look and feel.

Will this one offer radio controlled atomic clock sync? Doubtful and the lack of this feature on a quartz watch retailing in the $1K price bracket is still unexcusable. Better yet, drop a more refined version of the Bulova Precisionist movement and I'll be all over this baby.JapanWatchConnectionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16941999815919761053noreply@blogger.com
